Monthly AnnouncementsWelcome BackTournament House Gym is now open and prepared and ready for the " new normal " during this Covid - 19 era. Many changes have been made to the gym in response to concerns regarding social distancing and cleanliness. New protocols have been introduced to make Tournament House an environment everybody can feel safe to workout in. The group fitness schedule will be reduced until August, at which time we will hopefully return to a full class schedule. Please check out our group fitness schedule for all class times. The first hour of this class consists of stretching andcardiowarmup,followed by technique instructionand drills. Those interested are invited to stay for additional conditioning and sparring. Parking is available at the Elks Lodge parking lot during the day. If you park next door during the day, it is at your own risk and you may be towed. Fitness TipGoing back to the gym after coronavirus quarantine: How to protect yourself:Tournament House is taking this pandemic very seriously. Extra cleaning, more space between equipmetn,cleaningstations, hand santiizer, extra cleaningpersonel, andbeyond adequate ventilation are just a few steps that Tournament House is putting in place to demonstrate to our members that we have their best interests in mind when it comes to protecting them. There are things you can do as individuals to amplify our efforts and further protect yourselves. Be sure to clean equipment before and after you use it by wipingit down thoroughly. Tournament House will have additional staff going around doing this as well, but itnever hurts to be EXTRA safe! Don't be afraid to use the hand sanitizer stations we have located throughout thegym. While you are working out you will most likely be touching your face more often to wipe sweat and even get rid of that itch or two. Working out with friends is agreatway tokeep you motivated soplease besure tospeak toanymember ofmanagement regardingany questions or concerns you have so wecan work towardsmeetingour workout goals. |
